What does this mount to?

This "foot" was in the front storage area of a new Jayco fifth wheel I just purchased. It has rubber feet on the bottom and is some sort of a stand. I have been unable to figure out what it is supposed to hold. Can anyone tell me what it is for? Thanks.

I have a photo, a bit oversize. It looks like a fold out entry handle, but with the rubber feet, and what appears to be graduations with screw holes. I'd say legs that fasten to something??

The first thing that crossed my mind was being a fold-out safety handle for coming up and down the front steps but I doubt if it is that... The rubber feet goes to the floor for something...
