What the smallest 5th wheel with a slide?

Considering a 5th wheel, but most are so huge & that's great, but I don't have anywhere to keep anything very big.

So I'm just wondering about smaller 5th wheel options.
But being small, I'm figuring a slide would help.

Those are beautiful!

I really like the 295RL

I bet they are expensive?

List price on the 295rl is $38000 then add a couple grand for shipping. Then you should get around 25% off of MSRP. This gives you $30,000. Add tax and incidentals and you should be around $32-33k
Grand Design units cost a little more than the competition but the customer service is worth it

Wow!
Really?!?!?!?

Hell the Mammoth triple slide Truck Camper I was considering was around $60K
Of course you can get it down to the mid 50K range, there was a couple of used ones I found & they were 50K+

I wonder if these GD models have a Geni?
I didn't see it listed?
I much prefer a built in Geni than having to buy one & having to lift the beast in & out of the truck bed not really an option being just me & the wife, I'm sure our dog would love to help but.......

GD doesn't offer a generator option on any of the Reflections. I made a cargo rack and mounted my EU3000is on the back of mine.

I have complete access to my fridge and bathroom in our Fox 235. As far as backing up, it's a 5th wheel so it's different anyway. You jack knife easier with any 5th wheel. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy.

The Fox Mountain looks like it would be a great short trailer. The only problem is access to the refrigerator and bathroom while traveling. Also, I wonder if shorter trailers would be harder to backup because they would react quicker to the steering and therefore jackknife unexpectedly.

About as close to offroad as a factory made unit gets, but she is heavy.

The shortest ORV 5th wheel is 30'9" not 26'.

And that shortest AF is 27'10 not the 23 indicated by name. Difference is about 3 feet, but he had since the beginning brought tank size into the topic, and commented about the Fox having a small tank. So I mentioned the ORV due to tank size. The ORV has much larger tanks.

40/40 grey tank capacity & almost 4000lbs cargo capacity. We have gotten this unit into some pretty tight spots.

I saw an older (not that old) V-Cross, think it was a model 25... it had a wardrobe on the bedroom slide (street side) and a sofa only slide. The thing I liked best, was the bathroom was on the main floor. Maybe a 2010 or so.

Check out these folks for small 5th wheel trailers. They show a 219 RKS 23' OAL with a slide ....5600 gvwr....4000 lb dry weight. And bigger if needed.
Allen is small and has been around making RVs since the '60s that I know of.
I think if memory serves me correctly 1958.

You can get the Fox Mountain 235 with a gen.
I just got back with our 2013 235 from a 3 night stay at Bend Garden Rv park. I've made a few mods to mine as I think it has some faults. The booth is uncomfortable so we replaced it with free standing table and chairs. The rear jack knife sofa is worse. Replaced it with two wall hugger recliners.
Added a 40" tv as well. We camp mostly dry until the weather turns a bit chilly/wet then we like the elec for the heated blanket at night.
It got down to 24* last night. We just ran one space heater in the living area and it was 52* inside. Had another heater but didn't use it. Furnace will run you out.
After 5 seasons of camping we've only had a couple probs that are barely worth mentioning. Everything works like day one except for the kitchen faucet and the bath faucet. Cheapo plasticky stuff. Replaced with units from Home Depot.
The new trailer life article is wrong on the CCC. It's closer to 4000 lbs. They're not subtracting the pin weight.
We tow it with a 12 Ram 2500 CTD. Not to sound redundant but I hardly know it's back there.
We looked at other larger 5ers but can't see losing money on ours and starting over again only to get another piece of furniture like a sofa or such that we wouldn't even use if it already had two recliners. The bath/bedroom area in ours is great for showering and changing clothes. Only drawback is storage for clothes. We've been out for 2 weeks straight and need a laundromat about that time anyhow.
Overall we're really pleased with the build quality. I read several other brand forums and we've never had 1/10th of the issues that most others seem to have.
