Winterization fifth wheel residential fridge and washer?

We’ve had a 5th wheel for 12 years and traded for a new 2019 Montana recently. Two things totally new are residential fridge (Samsung) with ice maker and Splendide stackable washer and dryer. We will be headed to south Florida after Thanksgiving, but will have some freezing in Ohio before we leave. I need some detailed advice on making sure I get antifreeze to all places especially the fridge/ice maker and washer. How many gallons should it take. Thanks, Jim

My procedure for my Montana

Open drain for fresh water tank and let it start draining
Pour 4 gallons of antifreeze in a bucket
Set the bucket near level of winterize connection to reduce lift for pump
Connect short hose to winterize connection,
Drop other end in bucket,
Bypass and drain water heater,
Turn winterize switch to ON,
Start pump,
Open one low point drain until I see pink then close it,
Open other low point drain until I see pink then close it,
Go inside and open a faucet until I see pink and then close it,
Repeat with all other faucets (kitchen, bath, shower, toilet),
Go outside and so same with outside shower faucets,
Connect outside shower hose to black tank flush connection and run antifreeze thru that line, then disconnect that hose,
Go inside and turn washer to cold setting and run washer until I see pink in window,
Set washer to spin and drain,
Set temp to hot and run washer until I see pink,
Set washer to spin and drain,
Turn winterize switch to NORMAL,
Leave water heater bypassed until spring dewinterizing.

This also puts antifreeze in the P traps during the process.

I don't have ice maker so I leave that to those who do.

4 gallons is typically enough, but being generous with antifreeze I buy 5 gallons.

as far as winterizing the ice maker, I always pumped the pink stuff thru the outside/exposed plumbing, nothing inside the refrigerator itself. I sort of figure it gets chilly inside the box when It is in operation anyhow.

I use less then 4 gallons total when I pump it thru the system, I usually run at least one cycle in the washer to make sure there is plenty in both the hot & cold side plus the drain. For the fridge I change the filter ( keep a old one ) and run as much as i can thru the water system, so far I have had no problems. Antifreeze is cheaper then repairs, lol

Just buy a dozen gallons and you will have plenty. 😉

What you don't use this year, keep for when you return from the Southland.

I'm in the same situation, except no washer with my brand new 5er. By next year it won't be a mystery any more.
