Winterizing with air

I have a new Columbus 5th wheel. It has a normal and winterizing lever. Also the city water inlet has a normal one and a winterizing one. Does the winterizing one just by-pass the water filter or what ? I have emptied the water filter and took the filter cartridge out. I also have a residential refrig with icemaker. Leaving it's drain open, will the air blw it out ?

How we melted the pink stuff was out of the waterlines when using them after flushing them when dewinterising them. Using hot water for a shower was the worse. It wasn't just a small time after the first use but also the second time using the trailer weeks later. Living on the west side of Oregon where we rarely get weeks of single digit freezes, having air do the job on that year is good enough for me.

I don't understand this I guess sorry' how are you smelling the antifreeze through the faucets and such? wouldn't you be smelling it coming from the drain pipes in which you say you still pour some into?

Ditto, not as many years, but as we go out year round, likely as many times.
Also don't need to flush antifreeze out of the lines! One of our favorite parks doesn't have full hookups, just need to get the air out, and that can happen with little waste.

I have been blowing out lines For 8 yrs. Just run water pump for 30 sec and blow and then put anti-freeze in traps and tanks. Never a problem. I was just wondering which inlet to hook up the air, normal or winterizing.
. I don't know what the difference would be.

I take off the line between the solenoid and the icemaker and blow it out. Never put antifreeze in anything except the p-traps.

Ice makers and washers need to have antifreeze run through them to prevent damage. Couple of years ago we had our household stuff in storage. Even our home wahser stated running antifreeze solution thru the system before storage.
