I love making my own bread and have never tried it in a camper but other than using a bit more propane I think I'm going to give it a shot? Nothing like the sweet smell of homemade bread in your rig right? I know there are some good books on it out there too. I like "The Bread Bible" by Rose Levy Beranbaum!

These days, most everything available to us on the grocery store shelves is full of garbage we should not be putting in our precious bodies.. This is one reason why I like to bake! I often use a recipe with no sugar and even sometimes no yeast so I know exactly what I'm eating when it's time for my morning toast and coffee and I love my toast and coffee believe me...
For me there is nothing quite like creating a basic hearth bread and doing it with a dough starter or better known as a Sponge! Wonderful!

FWIW and back to the OP:

We love home made bread, just bread doesn't help my blood sugar levels, so my Doctor doesn't like me baking home made goodies (LOL). Do most of our cooking and especially baking in the RV, so we are avid bakers albeit the oven isn't anywhere as consistent as the SnB one, and even then high altitude from Alberta down to Fla makes a huge difference in how I have to adjust recipes to make my sponges and cakes rise.

There are plenty of books on the subject. (novels) One Second After, and Lucifer's Hammer often considered classic by some critics. There was a time when I considered preparation. I am now of the age where I think a few (very few) years in advance. Best to you and yours, and Happy Trails.
