Full timing in south Texas

My trailer is a bit on the smallish side, but it's mine free and clear. The original owner purchased it brand new in September 2005 and lived in it for approx. 6 weeks while his house was made liveable again post Katrina. In December 2005, it was placed in his airplane hangar and never moved until I bought it in September 2014. Literally, it is a practically brand new 2005 trailer. Stayed in it a few weeks previously, but now full-timing for work. The benefits far outweigh living in a rental and don't regret for a minute my decision.

Actually in one of our older 5th wheels we used the 4 inch memory foam ONLY and it was perfectly comfortable.

It is cute! And it probably has just about anything you need.

It does, and I have.

One of the few things to change/mod on a short list is to replace the factory mattress with a quality one. There is a small "dog eared" corner on the mattress, but I don't think a pure standard rectangle will interfere with anything.

You can get a queen size 4" memory foam mattress to put on top of your current one at Walmart for about $125 and it is awesome. We've had 2 of them and they serve very well and are very comfortable.

Relatively close to each other. I'm in Kingsville and previously spent two weeks in Victoria/Bloomington.

Get a couple of small solar panels and an extra battery and you're set up for some great Boondocking.

Enjoy.

Size DONT matter. What matters is that you are happy. I bought a used one and dont cringe when a branch rubs down the side or I need to drill another hole in it as I make modifications. You're going to love it. I had a 1997 Jayco 24 ft and considered it to be very good quality.

At that size it should be cheaper to keep cool in those south TX summers ๐Ÿ™‚
