Our exit plan, we purchased a lot in Yuma, Az. We are building a house in two years. Still plan to travel a few months at a time but not full time. We have thoroughly enjoyed our fulltime experience and loved meeting all the great people. Its like one big family. we got memories that can not but duplicated. Spent the summer in Alaska and a winter in Mexico.

Delor,

Perfect... I would do that except I'm fence sitting if we are
going to stay in our current home...too big for just two (soon).
So, want to put any monies into ROI type priorities. Should have
done that 15 years ago. If I had a do over.. LED lighting throughout
(only half the house now), additional ceiling fans... higher
R-rating in attic....etc.

Don,

The Foothills are seasonally nice...
I grew up in El Centro. Good luck.

We have a hot water heater for the kitchen, extra bath and laundry but for the main bath we have an under cabinate "Elecric Tankless Water Heater" that does a wonderful job and gives you all the hot water you want in 30 seconds and will contine to do so for hours. Just a thought.

Don,

"Actually we are going to have a covered patio the full length of the house when we build it".

Good idea, and north /south config. with common use areas away from sun side... then add fast growing shade trees down the east/west side
(Majestic Ash/Shamel Ash is what we went with). Don't forget to put
your heat pump/AC unit far enough from the master bedroom that you don't wake up every time it cycles (we had to move ours). Also look in to getting the water heater closer to the master head... I wish we had, takes about 3 minutes of running water to get "hot". Don't let
anybody talk you in to "grass lawn" ...everybody here is going xeroscape.... with drip lines to desert friendly flora/fauna. Got to have enclosed garage... too hot in summer.

Good luck.

Shade...in Arizona? 🙂

Yea, SHADE. That shadow that falls across the MH and cools it down about 15* in the summer time. Mostly found under TREES, which is another thing that I don't see in the pictures...:B

That is very nice the only concern the DW would have is SHADE. There does not appear to be any. But besides that I would move in today.

In Arizona if you want shade you need to an umbrella. Actually we are going to have a covered patio the full length of the house when we build it.

WOW that is a BIG LOT. You can park a HM there and 2 others and still have room. Enjoy.

It actually has 4 full hookups, but they only want you to use two at a time. The support building has a washer, shower, toilet, water heater and a refrigerator in it. Two 40 x 20 cement patios and the one on the east side has a cement pad to park on.

When we lived in the phoenix area a few years ago we spray painted our back yard green in the summer, orange/brown in the fall, and white in the winter. Don't get any better than that haha...

Very nice. And I see no lawnmower would be needed!
