My wife and I are preparing to be be full time RVers for the next few years. Is there an existing thread or can anyone offer advice on the best method for mail delivery and establishing a domicile? We are selling our primary residence. I have a small rental in another city. We are Texas residents. Thanks, Phil

We use MyRVMail.com in FL, but we were already FL residents. You will be better off staying s TX resident; so much simpler. All you are doing is a change of address and can skip a few steps that a new resident does.

I use a UPS Mailbox. Escapees is also a good Option.
God Bless!

My first choice would be a son or daughter's address to use. Remember, changing your permanent address effects more than just where your mail will be sent. It is what is listed on your driver's license, your registrations, etc. It could also effect your auto insurance policies and your health care insurance.

If a relative's address doesn't work out and you start looking at the mail service places, get firm estimates. Everyone talks about how great they are but they never brag about the cost.

We have used our son's address for over 2 years and planned on using it for another several years as full timers. Plans change and we are purchasing a winter home in SW Florida, but will still travel in our FW the other 6 months. Now we will be able to forward our mail back to his residence when we are on the road and he can get us our important stuff.

Since your already a TEXAS RESIDENT then why change????

Become a member of Escapees and just change your address and the normal paperwork to reflect the change. To me, this is a no brainer!!

MyRVMail in Crestview, FL, has been very reliable for us these past four years.

For our mail delivery, we chose to change our mailing address to that of our daughter in Tennessee. She sorts our mail, informs us of anything important. In some cases she will scan and send it to us by email. About once a month, she sends our mail to wherever we are staying. We vote by absentee ballot.

Escapees in Livingston TX should be able to help. If you decide on Florida, www.myrvmail.com in Crestview FL in the Panhandle can assist.

Since you are already Texas residents, go over to Escapees and use them. Polk county has no emission testing required, the company was founded by RVers and they know what they are doing. We've been with them for going on 10 years now.
