Things you miss from sticks and bricks?

We are starting our 2nd month as newbie full timers and the itch of missing things, while small, has begun. What things do ya'll miss?

Wife and I had different ideas but we definitely agree on our garden and our fridge.

I miss the soaker tub and the fantastic internet we had, and at times a larger kitchen workspace, but I still love the coach.

We've been full timing and don't miss a thing concerning our old S&B

When we lived in our hauler i missed,

Real toilet
Garbage disposal
Dish washer
Not climbing steps

Things i hated at KOA

Idiots
Slobs
Dog ****

Not one of these I miss.
Snow shoveling and cold weather
Grass cutting and humidity
Real estate taxes
Repairs.ie roof, water lines, appliances
Bad neighbors
Barking dogs, sold 2 houses to get away from.
Sitting in house (boring)
Realtor fees
Same view out my front door every day
Not seeing family friends much

DW and I have been FT for 6 years now. Had a friend ask me if I missed having a house to come back to. My response," I miss a house like a dog would miss fleas!"

We PT for 6 months a year. I think my DW puts it the best way "RV'ing is very low impact." For having a low impact lifestyle you do not have the chores that some are referring too. I enjoy our time on the road, because it means less chores for me, and more time to lounge around, relax and spend fun time with the DW.

On the other hand you also do not have the rewards from a "high impact" lifestyle that those chores and $$$'s bring you. When you have a "high impact" lifestyle you have real square feet to live in, a garage to house things, land to work and make yours, pride of ownership when you do those chores, hobbies that require space, a place to entertain more then six people, a kitchen bigger then in Barbie's play house, heat and AC that is even and not spotty, hot water for a good long shower, a bath tube to soak in, neighbors which are more then 15 feet away on each side of you, a full size gas grill and a proper deck to use it on, etc.... All that might explain why FT'ing seems to be more of a chapter in peoples lives, and not a lifetime commitment (if they can afford to move on.)

We had a very fulfilling life in our old S&B and enjoyed it BUT we really wanted to hit the road and travel.
So we went Full Time for 7 yrs.

If life's curves hadn't changed things we would still be 'on the road' BUT we're back in a S&B

Didn't miss anything while Full Timing.

Now I get to do ALL that stuff I did NOT miss. :B

Long showers. Man that is a good one. Great now I'm missing something else.

Hey guys will take down the Amazon link and youtube monetization, its not our intention to take advantage of the community. Pffh nobody uses it anyway and the $0.003 isn't helping much. We just like sharing.

I found it takes me about 3 months to feel absolutely at home in my RV. After the break in period, I still miss one thing.....long showers. I rarely camp with hookups and often camp where water is limited. I can do a Navy-type shower with only about a gallon of water. That gets old quick and nothing feels as good as a long, long shower with endless water.
