We have lights for the brake and turn signals on the car but there is a problem with the connection from the RV to the car. When hooked up, the signals don't work on car. Any suggestions?

That's why I opted for an independent set of lights. Does not interfere with the car at all.

80% of these troubles are caused by a bad ground.

Make sure you have a good ground and then go from there.

Probably a bad ground connection somewhere. When ever I have a light problem, I always look there first. 9 out 10 times, that's the problem.

Good luck in finding it.

Lol. I found out this morning I have the same problem. I can even hear a relay clicking in the car when the turn signal is on. But no lights. Didn't have time to debug this morning.
