AC service in CO

I am having problems with the front AC unit on the MH, it's not blowing cold air. Since it is a sealed unit don't think it would be out of freon but is it compressor or something else. Was wondering if any members lived in the Colorado Springs area and if you do any recommendations as to where to take mine.

Thank you

and do they know about AC units?? I suppose you charge mileage too since I'm in Pueblo West that might get a little expensive.

We were gonna bring you some empty bottles full of cold air free of charge! Thanks for being a good sport Rich and good luck with a solution.

If you are bottling up that air at 8.000'+ you could send me a little.

Haha, well outa Central City I took the dirt road (in a 4 wheeler) over the mountain and down to Idaho Springs to pick up I70. I had driven it before in the summer, but not in snow. No shoulder, no guardrails and sliding in the slush only a foot or two from the edge sometimes. Even when trying to stop gravity would pull me down hill.

Can you hear the compressor running? If the compressor is not runninig it could be something as simple as a start capacitor which is relatively inexpensive and an easy fix, if it wasn't so darn high up on the roof. If you got a stone or branch through the coils you could have lost the refrigerant and in that case you can pick out a new AC unit. Good luck!!

I had the Camping World in the Springs fix mine a few years back. Turned out to be a bad part which they had. They got me in and out as scheduled with what I considered a reasonable charge.

When I lived in Denver I had All Stars RV do some work for me. They are located in a little spot called Louviers, CO just north of you. North on I-25 to Rt 85 to the west, and you should see them on the left. Their phone # is 720-348-0404. You can look them up on internet and also on rvservicereviews.com. I was happy with their work, the time it took, and what I was charged. That was 5 yrs ago.
