Beeping when rv porpoises even slightly

Hello,
I have a 2004 Monaco Knight. I have had this DP for a while and a beeping noise has started coming from what seems to the electronic transmission control when the DP even slightly porpoises. I do not know for sure if that is exactly where the beeping is coming from but it is definitely from the left of the driver. I did have a pump/cylinder replaced for my front leveling jack. I had read on here that it coud be the fluid for the jacks being slightly low. It did seem to start right after I had it fixed but I have been reassured from CW (for what it's worth) that they checked and the fluid level is fine.

Any ideas or could somebody please tell me how to check that fluid level myself. I have checked the transmission fluid and if anything it is just slightly high. I would greatly appreciate any help or ideas.

Thanks,
Todd

Thanks everybody for help. I filled it up according to what I was told and no more beeping.

I too have an 04 Monaco Knight ...if the jacks are even 1/4 inch down from full up stow position they will chime when coach is porpoising ....if the springs are not strong enough to pull the jacks to full up stow position (possibly due to cold temps ) then I must use manual release at the hydraulic motor ( on my coach its on the passenger side to the left of the generator.... access thru gen door)

Try this after the fluid fill issue is resolved as Brett has said.

Hope this helps ...PM me if you need anything else

I have the same kind of jacks. I did what WOLFE10 said and it cured it. Good Luck.

That new jack might not be fully retracted
Many jack systems say to fill with jacks fully retracted, extending jack then filling can cause the reservoir to be over full, and will expel the excess (all over the ground) when retracting
Or built excess back pressure and prevent full retraction, which will trigger the jacks down alarm
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

Yes, with RVA jacks, the proper fill procedure (easy with two people-- one just to lower a jack from the driver's seat panel):

Lower ONE jack 6". Fill till person in driver's seat shouts that the warning buzzer goes off. Stow jack.

We have a Monaco gas coach and the jack alarm will beep if it is the slightest bit low on fluid. We have had this happen twice now and we have to have jacks up to top off the fluid. Beep goes away.

Pretty common on HR's. I had a 05 Ambassador that did the same thing. Was told it is the switch mounted on the lower part of the Air release button. Mine would beep when I hit a large bump and the front end bounced up and down. I never changed mine out as it would always quit within a few min. Feel sure someone that has changed the switch out will chime in and give better advise.

The reservoir is in the passenger wheel well. I think I dropped the front jack six inches and filled until the dinging stopped. I hope someone can be more age and model specific for you.

edit - do what Brett says

I want to make sure I am doing this correctly. It isn't dinging unless it porpoises. So, I drop the jack 6" and then it should start dinging. Then fill until it stops?
