Best caulk for fiberglass roof?

Can anyone advise me on the best caulking to use on my fiberglass roof?

I want to real the joint where the front cap meets the curve at the sides of the roof.

Decor sealant or eternabond. I use both. eternabond is an excellent product that adheres well if installed properly. Check their website for installation video. Then you can choose the best way for you.

This is what I did with a couple of exceptions. I completely took the seam apart and removed the old screws. I think put new screws and used some pieces of oak inside on the back of the roof to give the screws something to eat in to. I couldn't get to the entire seam from the bottom, but I got to about four feet of the center. Then before putting the Eternabond tape on. I sealed the seam with Dicor, being careful not to over do it. The ertnabond won't stick to the Dicor so I made sure just to seal under the seam and leave the fiberglass explosed. Been working for two years now with no leaks. I posted photos on here, I'll try and find them and post the links.

Both. Clean the seam of old caulk, seal the seam with Eternabond, feather the edges and seal with Dicor.

I second Dicor Lap Sealant. I have had very good luck with it. 🙂

Use Eternabond tape if possible. It will last much longer than caulk.
