Black tank pipe size

I have a new RV and noted that the pipe from the black tank is small (2 inch I think) while the gray tank is 3 inches in diameter. Aren't these reversed. I checked to make sure it was not just the handles that were reversed but the smaller pipe is definetly from the black tank. Aren't there some code standards for this plumbing? Won't this make it harder to adequatley empty the black tank?

It would help us to know what new "rv" you have and what type of toilet. More info please.

Or is your toilet equipped with a macerator pump or was one supplied for dumping.

Since the macerator would break up the soilids a smaller discharge pipe would work.

Put some water in the grey tank. Leave the black tank empty. Pull the grey tank handle. What happens????
