spending the day at the Mopar Spring Fling car Event (show and swap meet)
and came across this Factory A100 Dodge camper van, I think 1963
sorry even though I got my pix i did not get the full info

The lady leaning on the door is one of the owners (her & husband)

view toward rear from the side door

looking thru the rear window
yes..sorry about the reflections in the glass including my mug and the people behind me

3 beds, rear dinette, front over engine cover, front overhead

more room and amenities than the VW camper van I took my second Honeymoon in, (Smokey Mountains in November)
I can explain it to you.
But I Can Not understand it for you !

I love how the roof cap has so much glass. Probably a pain to keep from leaking, but it really adds a lot when it comes to lighting.

I haven't seen one of those in a long time, but I remember at time when they could be seen from time to time on the road. That's in really good shape too! Our VW Westfalia camper is all original (click my profile for a pic) and I can tell you, it can be a serious chore to keep everything in good shape and original - they did a nice job on that.

Thanks, I like the vintage RV's. They have class.

And frequently the owners of vintage RV's (or most anything vintage for that matter) have class as well.

After all, my DW "keeps" me, and she definitely has class, so it must be true. :B

Cheers.

Nice one! The plaid cooler is a nice touch. (Old enough to remember those in the 50s and 60s.)
