Brunswick, Maine to Intercourse, PA.

Need some routing advice from Brunswick, Maine to Lancaster County, Pa. I don't mind the tolls and would prefer to steer clear of large metro areas. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Man, I knew this question was just begging for an answer like this!! Yeah, Pensey sure has some very strange names for towns!

Anyway, back to the origina question, I can give some advice on the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania part. Once you get to the New York thruway, (87 south) take it to 287 south to 78 west to the intercourse area. 287 and 78 are toll free and don't pass through metropolitan areas. 287 can get congested around Parsippany near 80, but besides that is hassle free.

On Google Maps, put in from Brunswick ME to Wilkes-Barre PA to Intercourse PA.

It will take you on I-84 west to the Wilkes-Barre area, and then south to Intercourse.

I take 81 to 84 when we travel to Bangor ME from the Harrisburg PA area.

It's a good road but, it is a little longer than taking the most direct route from Brunswick to Intercourse. But, you miss congested metro areas.
