Class A, For Real this time

Ugh, so we want to buy a new Class A RV. Ford V10. Fleetwood bounder 36X or 36Y are floorplans that work for us. Our requirements are stand alone dinette and sleeping for 4, but only 2 in the master bedroom. Others should be able to sleep on their own.

Too many units out there that don't have cab over bunks to make this a reality (I'm looking at you Winnebago 38Q -- which I think is great aside from the sleeping arrangements.)

Looking for advice. Getting real close. Next few months.

Check out the Tiffin 35QBA & 36UA as they might meet your needs. Both are gas burners which I believe are Ford V-10's. They are nice looking coaches with lots of options both standard and at extra charge. Both of these have the queen size bed in the bedroom, couch with the sleeper plus two bunks in the hall. It is a good looking floor plan that might meet your needs. The nice thing is that when you are not going to use the bunks that area converts to a nice size closet. For dining you have a choice of booth or table and chairs. Tiffin is a well made product which they stand behind. good luck with your search

Did not know that. I'll be going over things like that before we decide on anything. Thanks for the heads up.

You are aware that the cabover bunk in the Fleetwood has a mattress that is about 2" thick supported by wood slats. My grandsons, 8 & 11 are starting to not want to sleep in it. I have been up there for a short time to repair things and I sure wouldn't want to sleep in it.

The couch does have a hide-a-bed. But if we have adults join us, they may not be a couple, and therein lies the reason for wanting separate berths.

We pared down our sleeping requirements after our "Sleeps 8" trailer, which in fact can only sleep 6 if no one shares except myself and DW. No one in the family was enamored with the RV lifestyle, so we changed our expectations.

Don't most have the hide a bed in the couch, mine did but than I removed it and made storage, why you need to sleep 4, if its for the kids just get a air bed, they grow up fast and will stop camping with mom/dad, mine did once they were 16 years old.
