Roy, one other thing i did was replace the water pump while i was there very easy three bolts. As far as the hoses i went to Napa got my linial footages if wasn't sure took my old hose with me, i did need one 90 degree ell bought a Gates cut off the ends and it worked fine. There may be a situation where you need a drop down size to make connections very easily done slip one hose inside the other with a little white grease and make youre connection, check your clamps make sure they are in good condition and should be good for another eight to ten years. 3708

Roy....When I changed my coolant, I knew that trying to locate all of the short/odd hoses would be an issue. It's not like a car where you can ask for the lower radiator hose.

Since all of the hoses were 2" and all of the turns were just 90 degree turns, I ordered premade silicone hoses with 90's. I went under the coach and saw that I needed, for example, an "L" shaped hose with a 12" length, 90 degree turn and 6" length after the turn. I found a website that sold a similar hose that was 12", 90 degree and then 12". I bought this hose and then used the extra 6" on the one end for a short straight hose. I was able to do this and buy a minimum of hoses that fit just right or needed to be shortened and both pieces used.

I bought silicone because my year Monaco had an issue with the radiator having such a rigid mount that it would crack the radiator when the engine moved. The silicone was just more flexible.

I can't help you on the thermostat, but many forget, Monaco still sells everything you need. You could probably buy there or at least get the right info.

Lastly, make sure you use the new Organic Acid Technology (OAT) coolant. Several companies make it and it doesn't require testing or additives. It will also run about 5 degrees cooler than the old stuff. I used Final Charge brand.
