Being from Missouri, most of our camping has been in this state, and our state park system is the best in my opinion. Anyway, Mo State Parks and several COE parks have a post/pole for lanterns, I came up with this device.
Took an old deer stand and converted it to a cooler holder. Keeps the cooler off the ground, off the picnic table bench, at a convenient height, folds flat for storage, and is adjustable for the pole, tree diameter or whatever by a simple chain. And doesn't mar nor damage the tree, pole, whatever.
