Looking for advice on getting a partial cover for Wrangler. I want to protect from dirt/rain while towing and when parked. Wanting to get a better quality cover, and not sure whats out there.

I use one of these. Only stationary though. Since it completely wraps the windshield and appears to have two straps below the door it should work for towing.

We have had several different covers for our jeep while in tow and to be honest with you, they are a real pain in the neck more than anything. Most don't fasten to the jeep and stay in place real well, and as already stated most aren't waterproof either. My opinion is that after a while they will do more damage to the jeep being on than going without one because they get dirty, wet and grungy. We haven't experienced any visual damage to the jeep without it to this point. Also we have a full bumper mud flap on the back of the MH so I'm sure this helps. Have a great day!!

That is a good point. The Rain Gear covers are not waterproof, but they do a very good job keeping stray showers out. Only when they get completely soaked does the water start to seep in from the puddles. But that is way better than the alternative (which I have been through a few radios as a result of, and the reason I purchased the cover.)

"karenlee62".....I use a LeBra front end bra on the cars I tow. They make one for almost any car. It stays on during the trip and I take it off when I get home.

Something to think about regarding the Coastline Covers. If you own a rear radiator diesel pusher, the Coastline Cover will be covered in road dirt/dust after towing. This is not a huge issue, but it makes for a messy job when removing the cover. The second issue deals with moving the toad. Often, when we arrive at our campsite, we aren't necessarily going to use the toad (overnighting), but need to disconnect to park the coach. With the Coastline Cover you can't see out the windshield and you have to partially remove it to see where you're going. I like to keep things simple and this cover creates a lot a work.

I have a coastline for the subie. It's thick vinyl, fits like a glove, and is easy on and off.

I had a Rain Gear cover for my 99 Wrangler TJ and plan on getting one for my 2010 Unlimited. Great product for a good price.
