You replaced it with another carpet type ceiling? Was the biggest pain cutting out all the vents/lights?

Yep, that's what it looks like...how do you usually apply the "scrubbing bubbles"? Do you use a shop vac or anything (like others suggested) or do you just spray it on and leave it?
