Easy to use slide locks

My B+ came with slide locks that were a bear to use ...heavy duty, but also heavy and awkward to put into place. I just replaced them all with 18" racheting bar clamps from Harbor Freight. They are strong enough and only require one hand to put into place and squeeze the rachet handle to tighten. At only about 3-4 bucks each, they make my prep for the road a lot easier.

Wonder why mfg. supplied them heavy ones vs light weight ones.....they do like cutting corners at every opportunity :H

I bought 4 of them to use on projects around the house. So far one has failed. Pick up a couple of spares.
