F53 Chassis Suspension 2015 Thor Ace 30.2

I purchased a 2015 Thor ACE 30.2 in April 2015. This was our first Class A. We really didn't know the sway and roll that would happen with this coach from the dealership. The price pint and floor plan was right for us.

Driving to Daytona on I-95 in rainey conditions and trying to pass a semi truck on the left I got loose and had to save the steering wheel and let off the gas. That was the point I started research on suspension control.

We installed the SAF-T-Plus tan on our coach this past week and WOW what a difference. Another addition we are adding is the Super Steer Rear trac bar next week. I can't wait to see the difference. The SAF-T-Plus was well worth the money. Less stress driving big time.

We have an F53 V10 2015 TerraSE 33s and my wife didn't like the body roll at all . We are here in Southern California so no mater which way you drive there are mountains and curves everywhere.
We did the same Saf-T stabilized , Trac Bar, and also the Roadmaster front and rear kits and WOW. what a difference feels more lite an F1 now, easier to drive , almost no roll, what a difference.
For what we pay for these beasts out the door I am a bit taken back thet Fleetwood and all don't do this from the get go.
Maybe if you are somewhere in the middle flat lands you could do without but where we are these are a must!

Do you mean the 20 mule team ones? I tried to tell our kids that our bus had 4 horses.

yep but i think one was missing. only 19.

Jim, glad to see you caught on, I wasn't sure how you would take it. Effy, yes the rear does make a noticeable difference, as I did the front first and was satisfied. I decided to do the rear, about a year later, because it was easy and free.

Just move the arms, no need to loosen any other bolts than the connection point.

The front is the more critical. On my first MH I did the front but not the back. Major improvement. On my current MH I did both, figuring if I am already under there with tools, might as well. Again major improvement. Not sure if I can tell the difference from doing the rears but why not? May be slightly less tail wag, but not really perceptible. Could be different on different units. If I ever had to do it again, I would still do both for continuity and since you are already doing one end, it's a few minutes to do the other.

One tip that may not have been mentioned in the video. Have a small jack handy. get your MH as level as possible on the tires alone (without jacks). Despite getting it close it may still be off a bit, and when you loosen the sway bar, one side will be slightly higher than the other when you try and align to the holes. Do the higher/easier side first then use the bottle jack to nudge the lower side to align with the holes until you get the bolt in. Made it much easier. You might get lucky and be completely level, but I found having the jack handy was a good idea.

The fix has absolutely nothing to do with front alignment. If is was in line before it will be in the same position after.
