According to the owners manual for my 2006 Jayco Greyhawk 31SS, it has a water filter. I have had this coach for over 3 years. I have been ALL over it trying to find it. There seems to be great confusion as to where the filter can be located. Does anyone know where to find it?

My motorhome, a Fleetwood Tioga, has a small faux paus (fake) wall under the sink to hide the pipes and wires. This wall goes almost all the way to the bottom of the sink, but has about a six inch space at the top. The water filter on my motorhome was draped over this wall, and all I had to do was follow the water lines and gently lift it and pull the filter up and out. Maybe yours is the same.

Mine has a housing but no filter. It's located beneath the sink in the cabinet. I personally won't drink the water from my taps. With so many different sources as i travel it's not worth the risk.
How many people do drink from the taps.
Me, but then my filter filters down to .5 micron which is about as small as it gets, a lot of them are only 5 micron, which gets the big grit & that's about it.

Well, i hope that if my coach came with one, that it has either been changed by the last owner, or it was bypassed. Otherwise i have a 11 year old filter! :E

Our 2009 Greyhawk had an inline filter right at the kitchen sink. It was on the cold water line under the kitchen sink. Ours came with the filter already installed and it also came with a piece of tube with fittings that could be used instead of the filter. I couldn't find the filter in stores when it needed to be replaced, so we removed ours and used a whole house filter.

If there is no filter on the cold line under the sink, check to see if there are fittings in the middle of the cold line. If there is, that is where the filter would go.

If you have a separate cold water dispenser on or near the kitchen sink, it most likely will be under neath the sink. On most rigs this also filters the water to the fridge ice maker. If you don't see the filter, it could be blocked off by a special cap. Do not remove this cap before you turn off your water supply or you will get wet. 🙂
