Standard advice: 1.Safety: Make sure tires are no older than 5 years per date codes and have no serious sidewall cracking. Have brake fluid flushed and brake system serviced as needed, including replacement of front brake flex lines, if originals. Have engine cooling system tested including belts, hoses, water pump, radiator and clutch fan. 2.Comfort: Test operation of lights, fresh water pump, toilet, shower, awning, water heater, furnace, RV generator, roof and dash AC, converter charger and house batteries. Make sure you have good sewer hose and accessories for filling fresh water and clean hose for camp water. Sanitize fresh water tank and plumbing with bleach water. Shut off low drain valves completely after sanitizing. Know how to get power from generator into the RV and how to start and shut down roof AC properly. ( Wait ten minutes to restart after shut down.) Don't forget prescription meds, cameras and chargers, personal items. A check list is helpful. It gets easier!!
