Fixing water damage on the old Dodge (pics)

I got started on my summer project the last couple days. I found this thing on Craig's list for $100 and drove it home. It's a 78 Dodge Monaco 23' with a 440. Here's what it looked like when I brought it home.

Ok, time to dive in!

Oh man, I can't believe the huge bag of rusty screws I have already! It's actually not as rotten as I was thinking it was going to be. Just in the corners, where the screws need to be. Still so much to remove....

We attacked the shed some more Sunday afternoon. Got a few trusses put up.

Well our nice weekend is turning out to be just warm and overcast. I guess it's better than nothing. I'm still attacking the RV/boat shed project. I'm hoping this will be a faster part of the project now that I finally got all my home made trusses done!

Now to get my Dad back over here with his shop truck with the auto crane and try putting them up. It should really look like something then!

Should we call it a Class-F?

I'd call it a Class-M (Malcolm). LOL.

Didn't you start this project with like a $500.00 budget?

It's been so long I can't remember! :h I recall the wife saying something about making it a thousand dollar motorhome from a $100 one.

I got my 2 end trusses all done and pretty today.

That's my old Kawasaki 90. I rode the snot out of that thing back in the 80's. :B It's pretty far gone now, I should haul it (and a hundred other things) to the scrap yard.

I know I need to get this thing moving... literally!

I'd love to get this shed built and move the RV project in there. I got my trusses all built today. Those scissors were a lot of cutting and marking for sure. I know the A/C unit will thank me in the long run.
