Fixing water damage on the old Dodge (pics)

I got started on my summer project the last couple days. I found this thing on Craig's list for $100 and drove it home. It's a 78 Dodge Monaco 23' with a 440. Here's what it looked like when I brought it home.





Ok, time to dive in!











Oh man, I can't believe the huge bag of rusty screws I have already! It's actually not as rotten as I was thinking it was going to be. Just in the corners, where the screws need to be. Still so much to remove....

waiting to pour my shop foundation. when the shop shell is completed and the trolly lift is installed. the 56 f100 gets moved inside, pulled apart and a new frame put under it. then the trailer project will start. hopefully about one year from now...

Well, it's been almost 10 months since Old Trucker left the last comment, and seems like forever since Malcolm wrote anything with pictures of the Dodge. I guess that project has ended.....probably decided that it wasn't worth the money now.
I dropped him a PM, and haven't heard back, so I guess he's off the grid now:)

It was a great thread, while it lasted.

We are climbing up on a year since the last post in this thread.

How 'bout it? Any new developments? Any work been done in the past while?

Or has it become like my TT rebuild project? Sadly, but not intentionally kinda shoved back into the shadows......

Well, taking a look at his Photobucket account here, it would seem the speed boat disease has overtaken him. The Dodge seems to not be visible on the property anywhere in the more recent photos.
