I am thinking about removing the carpet in my M/H and installing allure floating floor. I would like to know if anyone has used the Allure floating floor and if so how you liked it? I have one living area slide. Thanks for you help.

Lots of negativity on here about Allure and cold temperatures. So I didn't go that route. I went with sheet vinyl floor. All one piece. A bit of a pain to put in but way better than carpet.

I put the allure press and stick together down in our class A gas 35 foot. I put the slide out and started by putting one piece under the slide and marked where it ended. I did this all the way down the slide. I then adjusted the starting point by using a chalk line. I had to trim the first row to have it align with my chalk line. From then on it was easy. I did use some contact cement on the first row because of the slide riding up over it. I went from just behind the front seats back to the rear bedroom wall and the bathroom. I wish I had taken some pictures and we just traded it in. Make sure you get all the staples out and nothing is under the allure when you put it down.
