Ford Warranty

We recently sold our Raptor 5th Wheel and F350 truck and are replacing it with a new Class C which will be delivered later this month. It will be a Forest River Forester on a Ford E450 Chassis. We have gotten conflicting information at our dealership and rep about the warranty that comes with a new Ford Class C.
One party there tells us that there is a 3 yr bumper to bumper on Ford installed items plus a 5 year/60K warranty on the drivetrain which includes only the transmission, driveshaft and axles and not the engine.
Another party there tells us there is a 3 yr bumper to bumper and 5 yr 60K powertrain warranty, which includes engine, transmission, drive shaft and axles. This seems correct, but for some reason, I cannot find any verifying information. Does anyone have any suggestions or insight?
Obviously, this is not inspiring my confidence in my dealership.

Ask them for the owners manual package from another unit of the same year, or grab a VIN from another unit of the same year.

The issue is that I have not yet made the purchase. It has been ordered, but not yet delivered. I don't have access to a VIN number and I am trying to sort out conflicting information given to me by the Management at the Dealership and the Finance Officer at the dealership. They disagree and I am caught in the middle, so BEFORE I purchase it, I would like to have complete information on the Ford warranty that comes with the Forrester unit. It makes utterly no sense to me that Ford would not have a warranty on their engine, but that is what I am being told. I would like to know this before I consider purchasing any additional warranties.

Do NOT let them give you the run around. Warranty information IS available to the buyer of any vehicle period.

MAKE the salesman at the dealership provide that information to you. They SHOULD know and HAVE the warranty info.

If he won't give it to you go to the "General Manager" of the dealership.

If he won't give it to you go to the 'owner' of the dealership. Once the owner finds out they are not providing a copy of the warranty to a buyer heads will fall.

I would NOT sign anything on any vehicle without having a PRINTED warranty on the vehicle you are going to purchase in hand.

....with a new Class C which will be delivered later this month......Ford is reluctant to commit a comprehensive answer without a specific VIN which I don't yet have.....

First of all 'you' should not have to be calling Ford direct regarding warranty info on a vehicle you are buying and/or bought that's not their job. It is the 'dealership's" responsibility to provide it.

And how did you buy a vehicle and sign a contract without a VIN number on the contract?:?

We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned,
so as to have the life that is waiting for us.

This is simple. You already bought a RV on the Ford chassis. Just wait until you take delivery and read your warranty information. What warranty you will get really does not matter. Apparently, you already bought the new RV and you will get what you get.

You're buying a new Ford and won't know the warranty until you own it?

I'm pretty sure you have the standard Ford Warranty which is 3 years basic, 60/60 power train which Includes the engine, And 60/60 FREE Roadside service. I did a Google search on E450 Warranty and got plenty of information.

This is the same warranty I have on my Ford F53 motorhome chassis.

I'd look in the owners manual packet (may be in separate booklet). As I recall my warranty info is there. As I recall, it is closest to the third option you mention (60K on driveline including engine) but as you know the devil is in the details. I think some accessories on the engine are not covered. Best to read the packets included with vehicle. Also there may be an emissions warranty which has it's own terms.
