Fridge wiring

I'm a newbie having just purchased a used Class C. On our first trip we experienced the fridge freezing up. Did some research and learned this is not uncommon. I ordered a new thermister for the Dometic fridge and while waiting for it to arrive I pulled the outside vent cover to see what the thermister hook up looks like. I noticed two things that didn't seem right and I'm hoping someone here can advise. I can add a couple of pics but I don't see how. I think the thermister plugs into the board in the top left corner but I see a loose wire there (blue with a black sleeve) that seems like it should go somewhere. Beside the thermister plug is a smaller, two pole plug that has no wires going to it. Is this blue wire supposed to be connected there and, if so, to which pole? There is also an unconnected two pole plug just loose in there. Any ideas what it might be and where it goes? Unless there's a way to add pics you likely won't be able to tell what I'm talking about but fingers crossed just in case. TIA

edit. I've added a link to 1st pic

and second pic

Fridge is Dometic model # RM2652

Thanks for the information! This makes sense.

The blue wire is a test wire and is not connected during use. The empty two-pin slot on the board is where the thermistor connector goes. The wire not connected is the thermistor wire that needs to be reconnected.

Norton doesn't know everything. What reason or explanation (if any) does it give for the site being unsafe?

I can say that I've used it, as have many, many other posters, and there sure doesn't appear to be anything remotely nefarious going on. It's basically a handy front-end to store images in imgur.com and format the code/text needed to insert the picture into a forum post. I looked at the HTML and JavaScript the site uses, and there's nothing at all unexpected nor anything that appears the slightest bit underhanded.

you did not post back model of refer. This is a common circuit board for many Dometic refers and is of much better quality.P711 Dinosaur Electronics

You need to upload your pics to a host site such as this
http://photoposting.is-great.net/?i=3

It will generate a string of code. Copy and paste that code into your post
