I have noticed that there are many Ham Radio operators out on the forum. Is there a forum for Ham RVers.

I think HAM and CB radios while RV'ing is fun. HAM of course being much more tame.... CB's pretty handy.
4 whopping cylinders on Toyota RV's. Talk about great getting good MPG. Also I have a very light foot on the pedal. I followed some MPG advice on Livingpress.com and I now get 22 MPG! Not bad for a home on wheels.

I almost bought one of those Buddipole antenna systems at the Glacier/Waterton Hamfest tailgate sale, but I was too slow making the decision, and missed out.
I guess I'll have to start saving and get a new one.

The antenna works very well. It's a little tricky to tune. I use a MFJ antenna analyzer which makes tuning very easy. While in a state park in Florida back in December, I worked dozens of European stations and even worked Hawaii. Used it on 40-10 meters. The next morning I turned it into a 2 meter dipole and worked 2 meter SSB stations in Daytona Beach and Cape Coral from just south of Tampa. You can't go wrong with one of these antennas.

This is basically my OFF-ROAD POPUP setup when camping. My truck also has ICOM706 and two additional VHF/440 rigs

I try to use the TARHEEL Screwdriver antenna but sometime a good all-band windom antenna up around 15-feet at the center works better...

I have my favorite places to go just for ham radio around my somewhat local area in VA. My favrotie spot is on the VA/WVA wooded stateline behind Harrisonburg VA inside the Natl Forest - not to far from a placed FLAGPOLE RIDGE where all the JEEP clubs around here go to...

I keep up with my Ham radio buddies and Mommabear watches HDTV back in the woods once we get settled in for the night hehe...
