Help! Leak in fresh water tank

We're leaving in the morning for a long trip and I just discovered a leak and a very small hole in the fresh water tank. The tank is the kind of see-through whitish plastic. I believe there's some kind of sealant for this problem but I don't know the name or brand. Our local RV store is closed, bit there's a Home Depot and a good hardware store nearby. Luckily(?)I can access the spot very easily. Can anyone tell me, please, the name of the proper stuff to use???

Well, the stores were closing, we were still trying to pack, so I bought the JB Weld, and some SS screws. Then more online research, and saw that the JB site had WaterWeld for potable water tanks, a 2-part putty, so I went back and bought that....and used that, with a screw. I'll have both products with me, along with a few extra screws. Hopefully it'll work OK. Thanks for all the suggestions.

I would use Eternabond.

Old-Biscuit posted a pic of JB Weld "Marine Weld". Actually, with a screw and any quality 2-part epoxy, I'll bet it would work.

This is what I would use.......
It doesn't come up on my screen, whatever it is you use, Old-biscuit.
Jim,Is there more than one type of JB Weld; I did a search and it seemed to be for other surfaces

If it's a pin hole, I'd put a stainless steel screw in the hole, then cover that with JB Weld.
