Got a 91 Pace Arrow 30' on the P30 Chassis, and I need to top off the hydraulic fluid for the HWH jacks. I've looked EVERYWHERE, and cannot find it.

as doug says, dexron 3. doesnt even have to be any specific brand. autozone, napa, oriellys. if you have clear fluid, its hwh brand of dexron 3.
just be sure to not use any other fluid, like power steering fluid, or brake fluid. they eat the seals.
as a side note, hwh does sell a fluid that is pourable at minus 50 degrees, for those who do winter camping. it provides very low retraction times.

Not power steering fluid. Transmission Fluid. Or, you can just get the fluid from HWH.

[COLOR=]HWH uses Dextron 3 trans fluid. The HWH fluid IS Dextron 3 but does not have the red dye. Doug

As always, Doug has it right. My HWH manual says the same thing.

HWH has a fluid. Personally, I'd use that. As a generic I believe the fluid is more Hydraulic than Transmission fluid.

One end of mine is the pump and the other end is the tank, all of which is about the size of a complete starter motor.

if its hwh, the tank is where the motor is, its a horizontal tank.
if its power gear, its a vertical tank, just under the motor and valves.
identify your system by looking at the touch pad.
it will say either power gear, or hwh.
download a service manual for your system from the internet.
the manual will show a picture of the pump assembly.
as you say, theres no tank with the motor, you would be missing a tank.
is that trhe case?

Mine is 1999 PA and the leveling system motor/tank is VERTICAL config on passenger side behind Chassis Battery. The fill plug is about one inch diameter next to pump on tank.

Pump

Nope. Pump is standalone. About the size of a starter, no tank.

It might be a good idea to raise all the jacks and pull in the slides (if they are hydraulic) before you add fluid. Top it off with jacks down and when they retract you will have an overflow

I see the pump there. the lines lead to the main control box, then off to the jacks. Still don't see a tank.
