Hydraulic fluid

We have a 1998 Fleetwood Southwind with a super slide and there is a reservoir under the slide that had fluid in it.

Over time the fluid has slowly disappear from the reservoir.

No idea where it went as there is no marks on the concrete under the motor home.

Anyway, I am just wondering what is the best fluid to replace the fluid that was in the reservoir.

The slide still works well, but I am sure it is just a matter of time until it will not, if the fluid gets too low.

Thanks

Hydraulic fluid doesn't evaporate.......so if level is going down you have a leak.
At a fitting, piston seal, reservoir gasket, someplace.

And reservoir should only have fluid added/topped off when slide is retracted (in).

Thanks.
We will take it in and get it checked

Is it time for your medication or mine?
