Trying to get in touch with others familiar with the Jayco Weekender series from the Mid 90's, in particular the electrical systems. I recently purchased a used 1997 Jayco Dodge Weekender. Most of the major systems (fridge, AC, Toilet, Microwave) work, but I have ongoing questions about other things. Since these units are not fully self contained, I can't assume they work like many other RV's.
For example, does the house battery charge when plugged into 110v or just when driving or running the engine? Also there is a console of 4 switches above the center of the front seats that I can't figure out. There are also fluorescent tube lights down the center of the van. Are these 12v or 110v? I can't seem to get them to work.
Thanks. Hoping to make this an open forum on the Weekender series as there does appear to be a few out there yet.
