We are purchasing our first RV, after looking hard about 8 years ago at the smaller travel trailers and deciding against the purchase we are getting a class A this time around.

Thor Hurricane 34F

Anxious to start traveling in it, and we might be in for a big surprise!!

We were considering the 35C and had a list of pluses for both models. In the end the 1/2 bath lost out to what the 34F offered. Both have a "living room" feel that we do like.

Yes, over 8 years ago we were about to buy a trailer but decided to pass on the adventure. Our kids were young and we thought they would have it broken in pieces within a year. Now, times change, different commitments, etc. so we got the bug again but did not want to deal with tow vehicle choices. The motorhome lets us pile about 6 people in and be comfortable while on the journey, not just when we get there.

Congrats on the new coach, we purchased our Hurricane 35C in April and it has been great so far. If you go to the Thor website, you can register your new RV and also use the form to request all kinds of wiring, plumbing and schematic diagrams from them for future reference. They normally respond in about one day. I have found the diagrams very handy when trying to locate valves or for preparing DIY upgrades.

Best of luck and Happy Holidays!!

Met an older gentleman in an RV park in Georgia that had a mid-90's Hurricane with close to 200K miles on it and still going strong. Hopefully yours will last as long.

I believe the Thor Hurricane is considered a Class A. Unless they have a different system in your area.

Do you mean Class A? Those are the ones that sort of look like a bus, some with rear diesel motors. Then there are Class C's and B's. None are referred to as I.
