We would like to lubricate the automatic steps on our motor home and were told to try Kwikee Lube. The problem is that we have not been able to find it except online and we are traveling right now. Camping World did not have it. Any suggestions where we might buy it?

X-2 on the motorcycle chain lube. Works great on chain drive lawn equipment and is readily available too.

For more than 25 years I've been using foaming bicycle chain lube.....a bike chain gets a lot more use than the use than the step joints.....one thing I don't like is carrying a one use product....

I have used a lithium grease spray on all the joints and it works great. It does leave a white film but you can also use that as a clue when to relube.

I have always used a good brand of silicone spray, with no oil so as not pick up dirt and grime. NOT wd 40
