we have a handrail ..both on the inside and the outside the door.
Our screen door has a sliding cover that covers the screen door handle. (Just like the one pictured )

It would be very easy to put a cord around the outside handrail ... bring it through where the handle is ...and attach it to the handrail on the inside. Then just close the cover.

Last camping trip our 3 yr granddaughter ran down the hall and hit the
screen door, she kept going and thankfully cleared the step and missed hitting a log before she hit the dirt. She wasn't hurt , didn't even cry but it could
have been a lot worse. I like the mini deadbolt idea.

Yep... a small barrel bolt or an old screen-door latch and eye hook maybe? As said, you're not going to get any security from it, but you can keep the dog from pushing it open.

Not a lock but it would keep someone from opening the screen door:

If you feel unsafe where you are. Move to a different location.
Or keep door shut and locked. And open windows and roof vents.

I haven't ever seen a lock on any RV screen door. If you did have one.
Nothing will keep anyone from just coming in through the screen

I'm not sure how much security one can get from a locked screen door, but if the reason is merely to avoid surprise visits and invasion of privacy from friends and relatives, perhaps merely posting a sign requesting folks knock first will do the trick.

Maybe "Knock lest you catch us nekkid" or "Knock to avoid being shot." It might require a serious bawling out for the edjamacation of those clueless jerks who'd just up and poke their head in anyway.
