Monaco slide-out repair

We bought a 2005 Monaco Knight a few months ago. One of the slide-outs seems to be moving and rubbing the paint on the lower outside framework. We are wondering if anyone can suggest the best place for us to go to have this issue looked at? We live in southern IL but are headed to northern Indiana this Thursday. Has anyone had experience with either Elkhart RV Service & Collision in Elkhart? or the Monaco RV Service Ctr in Wakarusa, IN? Perhaps there is a better place? Thanks for any help!

Monaco no longer has a facility in Wakarusa, IN, it is now in Decatur, IN.

As Scottiemom says, both Duncan and Charger are excellent service providers with many years of quality service in the area. They don't "blow their own horn", but do the job right, promptly with little fanfare.

Duncan is a very good service center. Also, Charger Enterprises on CR 6 is great. I graduated from high school with the owner, Gerald Straw. He treats you well. Also, it is just a mile or so from the Elkhart Campground which is where we hang out in the summer. Both this places will do good work. We prefer the area of town where Charger is over Duncan.

If you are mechanically inclined , you can do it yourself. Shortly after I bought my 2006 Monaco knight I noticed the same thing. With the slide open, look under the slide on the outside of the coach. There are adjustment bolts that can raise of lower the slide. I adjusted these bolts a little and now it is fine.

Duncan RV Service www.duncanrvrepair.com in Elkhart gets excellent reviews. Complimentary camping area with lounge. You can read the reviews on www.rvservicereviews.com One of the reviews mentions some work on a Monaco with a slide leak.
