I carried Good Sam insurance on my motor home for several years until the rates went out of sight. I then changed to Progressive Insurance even though I hated their commercials on TV. How many here have Progressive and if so have you had a claim with them. Their rates are less one have of those with Good Sam.

We have everything we own insured through Nationwide, including my professional camera equipment. Rates are comparable to the other TV and internet insurance prociders and we have a human being to talk to when we have a claim. Never a question to us when we claimed twice within 2 months for tire blowouts on the RV. We had a bad hail storm a few years back and they sent an adjuster to the house to check the roof at our request....after about 30 minutes, he wrote a check right then and there to replace the shingles. I've been with Nationwide for the past 35 years and have never had a problem with them creeping up the premiums or denying claims or in general treating us badly enough to want to switch.

We also have National Interstate and the rate for renewal in November '16 was cheaper than '15.

A couple of RV insurers have gotten out of the 'bus' insurance business which will probably not be good for me when I renew in November this year.

Safe travels and keep the wheels on the ground!

National Interstate Insurance Company has not raised my rates for almost 4 years now and I had 1 claim for a windshield replacement on my Bounder, however they did raise my Jeep insurance $100 and no claims on the Jeep, go figure ?

That's what happened to us - and why we went with GS this year. If the rates are higher next year, I'll definitely shop my policy with others.

Our motorhome is insured with Progressive, but no claims so far. My rates have only gone up a few dollars so far, and even went down a bit one year.
