Motorhome delamination

I have a 2005 Hurricane with some delamination. I was wondering if anyone had considered using white nylon rivets to stabilize the delaminating areas. You may have seen these nylon rivets used with FRP panels in public bathrooms. They are sold by Home Depot. They would need to by used with waterproofing caulk to prevent water intrusion behind the laminate.
I have recaulked around all of the RV windows in order to insure that there is no water intrusion there.
I don't want to sink a mint into ripping out the walls to solve this problem. Is there a better suggestion?

The wood is what comes apart.

I have some on mine. It's just a bump. If you've sealed where the water got in, why fix it? There's some youtube videos that use glue. They drill it, add glue and clamp it by pressing it in using plywood against a building until it drys but you're really only gluing to Styrofoam.

I'm thinking the only way that may work is if you came all the way through the wall into the interior, then supported that with some type of backer plate.

X2...I don't think they'd work. The lamination glue has turned loose and most likely the underlying structure is separated. There's probably nothing behind where you'd drill into to place the rivet. Unless it's a really bad delam, it'll probably be okay since you have stopped the leak.

If you're going to penetrate the skin, why not attempt to fill, as much as possible? I'm not sure the rivets would contribute to stabilize the area.. You've solved the leak, the area should stop (eventually).
