Found a real nice coach at a dealer in Buffalo NY and was wondering if any of my fellow members here would be interestedand able to do an inspection on it for me or if anyone knows of a service I could hire in that area. I am of course willing to compensate for this service. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you for your time!!

If it's the dealership that I'm assuming that you might be referring to, I actually pass one of their two locations to and from work everyday. Colton RV is the local Tiffin dealer (although they have two locations here in the Western New York area). It would help to know which dealership? Send a PM to me if you'd like.

I have friends in that area, but with the weather there as it is right now, would not be a good time to check it out. Hard to inspect something under a load of snow.

Considering that the unit is a Tiffin, it implies that the unit may be at the local Tiffin dealer here in Buffalo. If that is the dealer who has the unit, their reputation is spotty at best. Definitely have someone at least look at the unit before you make the trip up here. There is the distinct possibility they will not allow someone else to look at the unit for you. If they do play that card just walk away because that will tell you that want to get you in the door and then play games.

It is a 08 tiffin allegro on a workhorse chassis. Obviously the pictures sent to me from the dealer make it look great. My experience has been you can't see a water stain or delamination from pics. So I am looking for someone to check the main things like that leaks, tire condition anything that would really kill the deal. I know a 6 yr old coach will have its wear but a good look at the overall condition can tell a lot about how it was taken care of. Thanks

Sorry, I read it too fast.

More information would be helpful, including which dealer has the coach.

Probably would help to know what type of inspection you're look for also. I thought someone to give you a general idea of condition but when you asked 'or a service' that seemed to infer one more in depth.

Tell us what kind of coach-- at least whether it is gas or diesel. Someone very familiar with a 10 year old gas coach will be of little value to you if theis is a 3 year old diesel.
