Thanks for stopping to look. As I start this new chapter of my life kind of forced on me, ( divorce ) I wanted to make this thread to keep up with this New to Me, Motor home, and look back in a few years at it.

Most threads on the HONEY brand are older and closed, so it will be kind of a travel and info log that may help any other Honey Owners out there ( if there are any? )

* I love classic Volkswagens, and this is the main reason I bought the RV is to go to more shows:

I look forward to hearing from other Honey Owners, or any other RVer that can offer any advice to a newbie, as I am sure I will have questions as I discover new things about this classic Motorhome.
Subscribe, if you would like to keep up with my adventures.

EDITED TO ADD:

Found some info on the P chassis that may help others.
pg 25 has the VIN code breakdown.

This site has all types of links for Onan generator Manuals.

Just came back to update and close this thread out.
I sold the Honey RV last June, and it went to TN.
The family loved it.

... I have been camping in my VW Bus, taking trips to Daytona Beach, TN, and SC

Though, today, I bought a 1982 Coachmen Travel Trailer for a new project.
Looks like a new thread will be starting up.

Be safe everyone!

Hate to see you sell it, and I bet you'll regret it later if it sells.
I've had two I regret selling now. Good luck either way.

Yea, I'm sure once it is gone, I probably will, but I have been using the VW Bus more and more.

back for an update,
not much going on and have been camping in the VW so far this year.
just cleaning and maintenance on the RV.

I did snap this today as I was heading to dinner, we had a power outage and I just fired up the genny to cool off and stayed nice and dry.

Awesome. I hope you're on the mend.

Reminds me that I need to get out and fire up mine - the 454 and the generator. It's been a while. Time flies as it sits out there. But Spring is around the corner and a whole new season of good times awaits!

Yep, movin good. Doing physical Therapy and picked up a metal detector too.

crazy how fast time flies, get it cranked and tuned TurboJimmy!
have a good one!

I was wondering how things were going. Glad you're on the mend. 🙂
That metal detector sounds like just the ticket for getting out and having fun. I've been thinking about getting a White's detector for a while now.

I enjoy your pictures and travels. I just recently upgraded the radiator and fan in my '76 FMC. Runs cool now going up grades! In 2016 I visited a friend in Bethune, SC then went north to VA and a brother's place. Nice country but a long way from home for me. Come West if you get a chance.

Photobucket? They shot themselves in the foot big time! I know a lot of photographers are dumping them, and rightfully so.

Knee replacement Surgery coming up in January, hope to be back out enjoying times by April.

Knee surgery? Replacement?
