Newmar Ventana front hood release

Where is the front hood release located on a 2013 Newmar Ventana?
Seems like a stupid question, but I can't find it.

Yes, it is inside the outside storage compartment under the drivers side window.
Be careful with it. If you haven't used it in a while it can be quite stiff. I was always afraid of breaking the cable. When you get it open be sure to lube the hinges and cable well.
I think it is a poorly designed hinge system.

Doesn't the Ventana have a front slide out for the generator? Is this the "hood" you're talking about?

If yes, most mh's will have a pull handle located in the driver's side storage compartment just under the driver.

My Newmar is not a Ventana but the release is to the left of the steering column and up under the dash and not easily seen or found. Have to feel around for it each time needed, perhaps a light and mirror will help in locating it.
