Has anyone seen the new Bentley Class A, built by Nexus RV ? If so, what was your impression ? I know they are a small manufacturer and have done Class C's for a while. I liked the look and features of the Bentley, but would like some other opinions.

Thanks

Was at the Hershey RV Show and did a walk through in the Bentley. Have to say was very dissappointed in the quality of the little things. Underbed storage.. It has it, but the bed is so heavy, would take 2 people to hold for someone to get or put anything under there. There are 2 A/C controllers 2 feet from one another. One was digital, the other was the old slide analog style.

In the bedroom, they have 2 separate shades, The darkener had a 2 inch gp, so it would allow a lot of light to come in.

There were quite a few of other little things that we noticed that they really skimped on.

I like the pictures right away, then I noticed the short wheelbase. I'm a long wheelbase/short rear overhang person, so count me out. Besides, I'm more interested in 45 footers, like the new Tiffin.

We took the factory tour a few weeks ago. The Bently looked liked a good quality motorhome. Seemed to be priced less than comparable models.

Read a good review of the Bentley in the latest Motorhome, or MotorCoach (FMCA) magazine. Looks like a nice motorhome, quite comparable to the Newmar Ventana LE that we bought last year. The only thing that struck me was that if they will not negotiate on the price, their price wasn't quite as good as we got on our Ventana after negotiating.

We have to see how they do with it but the Bentley looks on the right track..Note no heat pumps or no slide out for the generator to work on it...but the coach is a great alternative especially to the Thor Palazzo which has had its share of whoes.

From what I have read the nexus Bentley does have a window in the bed room. It is behind the bed head board. If is also the escape from the bedroom area. One can put the headboard up and let light in or close and outside light is gone. I think that is a great idea and would love to have that set up rather than the conventional windows we have in our Kountry Star.

Sorry, but they need a better spokesman. Great RV, but a poor presentation.
My advice is worth exactly what you paid for it.

Yes they are basically run by the guys who were in charge of Gulfstream's motorized units.

The guys who run Nexus are from Gulfstream, so they are not really new to the business. We stopped in there the other day to find out when we could do a factory tour. Very nice people. We have done this before when they just started, but were told that we could come any time and someone would show us around. Very accommodating. We, too, are interested in looking at the Bentley. They do take trades and offer those for sale on their web site.

There are several new ones people have just picked up in the Elkhart Campground from time to time. Very attractive units.

Great concept, good price for a factory direct semi-custom rig. No windows in the bedroom though. I am sure they could be added. Wonder how or if they do any bargaining off the list prices, or is the price you see the price you pay?
