Thinking of purchase a new unit this year and wondered what the consensus is on the Coachmen brand, Leprechaun model. Anyone with experience with the brand would be extremely helpful to know what you think about the product.

Thank you in advance for your input.

OK, I searched. This Thread alarms me. Of late, it seems to me that the Forest River products (Sunseeker, Forester) are better bets at entry level.

This is part of my search, looking for people who have had them and can tell me about them. All I am finding are sales pitches, on ALL brands, don't know which ones to believe. Like the floor plan of the Leprechaun, not seeing other brands that I like the floor plan, but don't want to buy a bad unit just because I like the layout.

My Mom and Dad had one that they bought new in 1972 when my Dad took early retirement. Towed a VW bug behind it all over the country. I was still in college and got post cards and letters from time to time. I think I inherited the "illness" from them.
They must be a good unit to be around for 40+ years. I know my folks never had a problem with theirs.
Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.
