Replacing Outside shower hose. One end of hose must go through existing hole in Fiberglass. I think I need a hose with 1/2" fitting on one end and 3/8" on the other. Unable to locate such a hose .
After considerable searching I found a water supply connector 3/8" Comp x 1/2" IP x 60" at several places including Home Depot, Amazon, and others. Could not find it while looking for "Shower Hose" but rather under dishwasher heading.
JerseyJim My unit is a 2001 American Cruiser. A great vehicle for me. Rear entrance. Lots of head room. It is not made anymore. Dutchmen Sport Thanks, a great suggestion will check it out.
Go to Lowe's or Home Depot to the plumbing section. You'll find the flexible hoses used under bathroom sinks. They work perfect. Get a threaded Male-to-male connector and make the hose as long as you want. Coming from the camper you may want the 1/2 inch to 1/2 inch .... add the connector ... 1/2 inch to 3/8 inch ... add the shower head. I ended up getting the chrome colored hoses instead of the white ones, simply because I like the look better. I ended up with about 10 feet of hose doing this. It was nice to have the extra length.
Who makes your RV? Contact them if no RV dealer has what you need. Maybe an RV store like Camping World...if not nearby, they are on the 'net. Check that. Also...you can call CW (1-800)for tech info.
