Rear Air Bags Not Inflating Properly

Question

I have a 2004 Newman on a Freightliner chassis. When I air up, the rear bags are showing that they are aired up but they are not. Lots of bouncing.... I have to partially dump the air and then air up again and all is fine.

Does anyone know what could cause this and how to fix it?

If no leaks in air bags your ride height valve might be mal funching.Might just need joints freed up from corosion making them stiff .This is assuming that valve has a proper supply of air .

Probably your leveling valve. On the air ride trucks my company has they seem to be the usual culprit when the bags won't fill.
