Thinking about a rear door screen kit.

Suggestions for a source and experiences pro/con

Seems like something I could do with minimal expense.

Thanks, Mike

Mike,

I sought to solve the same problem - we have an '08 Lexor.

PW did not offer a solution, but RT - which uses the same base van body for their 190 series - did offer a rear screen door kit. So I called a RT, got the part number, then called a RT dealer, ordered it, had it drop shipped, and I installed it. It works great.

While it may be a bit more spendy than you might like, it fits perfectly, works flawlessly, and, IMHO, it was worth what I spent for it.

Cheers.

Mike,

For my 2006 Roadtrek on the Chevy Chassis, I bought a short piece of screening from HomeDepot and a box of heavy duty washer sized magnets.

I cut the screen it overlapped the opening by about three inches on the top and sides, and used the magnets to hold it to the inside door frame.

Works great, is easy to put up and take down.
