Need to give our Dometic fridge more air flow.
Has anyone tried this type of fan?

I'm trying to get away from having to install a fan in the vent on top of the coach.

Thanks
Mike

I have 4 computer fans across the opening below the screen. Wires together and controlled by a button thermostat and 2 more in the side opening blowing up from the bottom also on the thermostat. I found button thermostats on E-Bay that activated at 10 degrees lower than the stock one and used one to replace the stock one and the second one for my added fans

We have one of the infamous Norcold 1200 LRIMSS 4 door refer/freezers that had the cooling unit fail. We had a Amish cooling unit installed and the fans are to help it as much as possible. It seems to work well.

Absorption refrigerators don't work as well when it gets hot.
Heat builds up in the vent space behind them. Some installs are
poorly designed. The fan just pulls in more air to exchange heat
and makes the unit work more efficiently.

I just took part of the screen loose then zip Tyed it back.
No harm it's under the cover.

I think it's been established that it's better to
Put the fan on top vs the bottom.
I waited a long time before finally reading
A really good write up on the subject.
Made it easy for me to finally do it.
Forget all the solar stuff just run it when it's being used.

Thanks
I didn't want to have to cut the screen on top.
The fan in the link is a computer case cooling fan.
But it moves 29 cfm at max RPM.
